I think we know which league is the A league.

And if you are a BRYC 04 this means what exactly?
Please, tell us about your amazing team. Oh, did you see the thread about the Mid Atlantic Division being split into North and South? I wonder how ECNL plans to fill out a North Division? B teams? NPL teams? New VA clubs that aren’t in GA?
Top clubs in any area are in ECNL and that is the case in the DMV. The only top club not in the ECNL is FCV. Arlington and MU are not at the same level. They weren't before DA and they are not now.

The Soccerwire rankings are a joke. FCV is not a top club. They were just in an awful division in the DA. They only looked good because that division didn’t have many teams come from the ECNL. A perfect example of that is the FCV 04 team that is ranked overall 2 in the DA and first in their poor conference can’t beat lower level ECNL teams. FCV was the worst club in the area when they were in the ECNL.

Loudoun doesn’t have a winning ECNL record as a club and is ranked 68th.
Nuff said about the value of anything beyond the top ten or twenty clubs.
What number is your club in Dundalk?
Irrelevant. I’ve conceded the greatness of ECNL as a league. I’m looking for a great local ECNL club to play for. To be 68th with a club losing record tells me that there is a sever drop in quality. Frankly being 68th competitive wise is closer to a team ranked 130th than it is to the 20th ranked team.
There is not a club below 30th that would even challenge a team in the top 20. You can both be in a league and be a pretty average team. The league doesn’t make you great by association. Great clubs do not have losing records.

According to this list, any FCV players of recruiting age (03-05) have no reason to make a move unless they are leaving the DC Metro.
Exactly the point. 06 and below should consider a move but maybe not until COVID is over. Older teams are better off staying where they are if they want good college recruiting, who cares that GA is not the A league.
And again, what club should 07’s and younger all be racing to?
In this area, GA MA > ECNL North MA as of now. Race to the better local league this year. Re-assess at the end of the year when things change, as you should every year.

The older ages still in play (04 - younger) will realize that the GA college showcases are poorly attended because college coaches on limited budgets will choose ECNL on a national level. The lack of depth of good teams on a national level will hinder GA. The league will slowly dissipate but remain. ECNL has always been on girls side the top league for colleges. They don’t care if DA had some good younger teams for two years. That experiment ended and they know bang for buck is ECNL nationally. You can cry and whine and bitch and stomp your feet all you want. You know it’s true. That is what pisses you off even more. Spare your response - I don’t give a crap. Nobody really does. The reality is if you did not get ECNL Your club will be ok, but that’s it. OK. Buh bye.
And yet you are here posting a manifesto not giving a crap. Ok bug bye.

So just race to a league. That is all that matters? It is that simple?
