Some internet teasing of basic white women is not in any way shape or form anything close to throwing around the N-word. One has a long and violent history, the other is mostly a joke. Just stop.
It is light years away from the offensiveness of the n-word. BUT... its not internet teasing. I see it and hear it IRL.
Boo freakin hoo. White people fall apart at the slightest hint of not being in a position of power. It's ridiculous.
And you thinking all white women are in a position of power is ridiculous.
I think what the the poster is referring to is the idea of "white fragility".
And when you bully women by claiming “oh, white fragility” when they don’t want to be teased... SMH. You are what is wrong with society. Protecting bullies, piling on any woman who asks not to be teased.
I don't think you understand what the term means. People started using the K word because it was short hand for "white women behaving badly" now when a "white woman behaving badly" gets called on her bad behavior, she often is observed to devolve into tears, which when taken seriously... well that is the definition. This isn't about bullying. In its purest form it is a way to bring humor, which is more comfortable than despair, to something that is entrenched, impossible to fix and so very wrong.

Yeah, this literally is just a meme. It’s not actually targeting UMC white women. It’s the same thing as Becky a few years ago. It’s more of a silly meme/joke more than it is an actual mean term.

Even the first tweet is just a silly meme. It’s not to be taken seriously or is literally targeting anyone.
Since it is just a silly meme, I am sure that nobody will miss not being able to use it, right?
You have no idea how frequently it was being used here -- and still is. Posters began to report it and I was almost DOS'd by the reports. It was just constant. It's played out. Time to move on.
That many people complained? Yes, it’s played, but people need to chill. Of all the things to complain about...I mean, it sounds like they came by their moniker honestly.
I don't think that the people doing the reporting were necessarily the ones being labeled. There are some posters who do a lot of reporting and, of course, there are people who actually have that name and don't like it being used in a derogatory fashion.

Be kind, be mature, it's that simple.
