Sometimes you don’t want to worry about a long-term relationship and just want some good sex.

So basically in it for the free dick.

Agree, it’s been largely win-win

You know there’s literally a word for selling sex for expensive stuff right?

Wine this gets funnier by the post, so cheap, is that all it takes. He scored with this one.

Seriously. I was the OW for a very brief period (I didn't know and broke up with him as soon as I found out) and he gifted me david yurman pave diamonds earrings and a tiffany t bracelet.

And you didn't find it weird that he was buying sex off you. Did you ever feel like a prostitute because normal dating doesn't include guys buying those things, maybe a meal and that's it. It's like with sugar daddies they buy stuff for the college girls in return for sex.

Do you look back and feel good about yourself over this? Do you feel proud you got those things? Or do you not equate it with him buying you? Do you then not care if you are bought for sex? Is this how the younger generation of women date now, transactional?

What? This is normal dating for us. My dad was a cardiologist, I was first year associate IB coming from an Ivy, so making the equivalent of $110K today at 22 years old. He was MD at a big consulting firm (think Bain). And I'm almost 50 years old lol.

How do you know who’s a wife and who’s not?

You can absolutely tell.

Just stop it. Sugar daddies are nothing new

And neither are hookers, no matter how you dress it up in fancy terms.

You know every one who I know who has been cheated on in their marriage and left, have moved on to find a better partners.

So the OW have said they don't care, they think it's fun, they think it's hot, they get given stuff.

For some reason this just leaves me feeling sad.

So you don't care that he's intimate with his wife or SO or anybody else?

uh, the PP said the AP was her side piece...i.e., she's married and cheating in her spouse. the guy/AP could be single, not that it matters at all.

He's married (thus I'm his side piece). I'm married (thus he's my side piece).

He is not having sex with his wife. I am having sex with my husband. AP knows this, so I don't think there is any reason for him to lie about him having/not having sex with his wife.

You believe the guy who lies to his family every day?

Who cares really? What would it matter so long as the mutual side pieces are continuing their side-piecing.

Its illogical but they care. They care when they get blown off to be with the wife, they care when he has a 2nd side piece, they care when he is too busy with the kids, they care when he ghosts them. They think they are different and use the “I don’t care” to shield their feelings but they care because they know nobody wants them full time. (So they have to pretend it’s their choice)

Uh, exactly how many “side pieces” do you know, that you speak so authoritatively on their thoughts, feelings, and motivations? I think you’re full of shit.

Of course she’s full of shit. Her husband screws around on her, and posturing like this on DCUM is all she has to make herself feel better.
