They need to have a certain look or style to go along w/their talent.
Anyone remember Milli Vanilli?
The guy who sang for them could never have achieved fame + fortune on his voice alone.
He wasn’t attractive enough to sing professionally even though he had a good voice.
Thus Milli Vanilli.
Oh, please! Mick Jagger, and about a thousand other singers. Lyle Lovett. I think good looks can carry someone further if their voice is just okay, but ugly people with talent can definitely be successful.
Did you just put Mick Jagger in an ugly group?! Lyle Lovett looks unfortunate and always have, but MJ...

So was Davy Jones (Monkees), Sir Paul McCartney, Harrison Ford, Dean Martin, Ryan O’Neal, Jerry Lewis + Eddie Fisher.
Unfortunately when people hit their prime earlier on than most - - they tend to not age very well.
Like Marilyn Monroe, Lana Turner, Michelle Phillips, Brooke Shields + Madonna.
So if you think that Mick Jagger is old & devoid of any sex appeal, look up his younger side then focus on that.
Unfortunately even Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Giselle don’t blow anyone’s socks off now that they are supposedly in the prime of their lives.
Alyssa Milano and Angelina Jolie are two celebs who looked amazing as kids and even more amazing in their mid-forties.

Trying not to write a spoiler, just in case, but his performance in Se7en was also fantastic— especially at the very end, wavering between whether or not to do The Thing.

Did you watch him in "Juliet Naked", starring Ethan Hawke and the aforementioned underrated Rose Byrne? It wasn't a great role or movie but I still found it charming.
Im a Black woman and she's a household name with in my community and friends group, but I do see what you mean.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I love Regina King. Never considered her underrated. She's done tons of work as both an actress and producer and she's won and been nominated for numerous awards.Anonymous wrote:Don't Get: Kate Upton, Beyonce, Emma Watson
Underrated : Laurie Metcalf (I love me some Aunt Jackie), Robin Wright, Regina King.
I think of her as underrated because she's doesn't seem to be a household name
