Is this a real question? Yes, it was a 6 part series that’s very specificAnonymous wrote:Monica is reassigned to the Pentagon presumably because someone found out about or suspected the affair, or because Bill asked for her to be reassigned. Did the show get into the specifics?

I caught her Jersey accent in an earlier ep and compared to how much he’s had to learn that horrid Arkansas accent, I thought it was a bad look.
She definitely looks the part, but I just find Edie hard in a way I don’t find Hillary.
She (Hillary) can definitely be shrewd & calculating, but Edie’s mannerisms are leaning much more Mrs. Soprano then Hillary to me.

The guy who plays Clinton really has him down-pat.
Edie Falco doesn't feel like Hillary. She's got way too long, fakey eyelashes. And her mouth is really weird these days.

This week's episode was the big Hillary episode, where Bill finally tells her that he had the affair and he testifies before the Grand Jury and the Clintons (with Chelsea) go on the worst vacation every to Martha's Vinyard to "celebrate" Bill's birthday.
We watched it last night and I can't stop thinking about it. It made me really angry, surprisingly so since this is all old news at this point. And through most of this series so far, I've been mostly focused on Monica (as the series intends) and how she was used and manipulated by so many powerful people for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with her as a person. But this episode's focus on Hillary just brought home for me how absolutely enraging Bill's behavior was, and the degree to which he screwed over all the women in his life (his wife, Monica, his daughter, the many women in his cabinet and administration, feminist allies, etc.) by doing this stuff, lying about it, and then needing ALL of their help to get out of it. And I've thought for a while now that these women shouldn't have helped him. I think he should have resigned. He was and is a sexual predator.
Anyway, midway through the episode my DH made some comment about "This is so bad but it just reminds me of Trump and how much worse he was." And listen, I hate Donald Trump with the fire of a thousand suns, but even this comment pissed me off. Bill Clinton was a gross asshole and you can't just compare gross assholes to Donald Trump as a get out of jail free card because everyone is going to look okay when lined up against Trump. It's like using Hitler as your baseline for a bad leader -- lots of room to be terrible without being Hitler, let's leave him out of it.

I like your rant. In the previous weeks, I was just thinking about Betty Curry and her helping Bill with his affairs. It's a tough spot to be in, you (Betty) have this huge job, and especially back then, one would feel "well, it's none of my business" but by not making even an informal protest, you are enabling it all. But if you protest, he will probably fire/reassign you, and get someone else. So the entourage stays in place. ugh

Her making this movie is the same as all the 90 day fiancé fame whores, flowers and any low-life who tries to make money off of their infamy or by any means possible.
What sets her apart from the rest of the scandal seeking dregs, is, nothing.
Yes her family must be real proud. I didn't know she had an affair with a married guy before that. She's worse than I thought.

It's not that she isn't a good actress. It's just that Monica was/is SO MUCH PRETTIER.
I agree with this. Monica wasn't really, really overweight, and had an elegance about her that Beanie can't quite replicate. I think it would be better if that actress had some of Monica's wow factor.
+1
Beanie is short and stout - there, I said it. Monica was not - she was voluptuous and rounded, but not fat. It's very distracting seeing Beanie clump around.
