1. Yes - even though she's the most attractive, she's not the only attractive woman. It's not even that he's bored of his s/o. It's just that you can appreciate the variety of beauty in the world. Someone who has great art at home can still love the art gallery.

2. I disagree with one of the PPs -- I don't think it would be common to remember a brief encounter more than a year later. I guess if attractive women were usually repelled by him and one gave him a friendly response, he might remember.

3. I assume you mean no physical attraction, because it sounds like you're saying he's attracted by her personality. So, sure. He might be less likely to do the pursuing, but might be perfectly happy to end up in a relationship with a woman if, let's say he's neutral on physical attraction, but very attracted to her personality. (Bonus points if she happens to be great in bed once they get to that point.)

Not all men are the same. I’ve seen men stare at anything with breasts and a pulse that walks by, and other men who would be completely oblivious if a supermodel was in the room. I’ve known men who needed initial physical attraction for a relationship, and others who became attracted over time.

I think it's a little like swearing. Most folks do it to one extent or another -- and there is nothing inherently bad about it -- but part of living in a polite society is being able to regulate whether and how much you swear depending on the situation.
