The “ANTIFA Philadelphia” Twitter account shared a separate tweet from the "Fellow Worker Gritty" account, which stated the building and room number in which Owens is scheduled to speak, and added that "the community has organized to shut down this engagement early" by making phone calls to members of UPenn's administration.

In August, activists harassed Owens and TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk at a Philadelphia coffee shop, according to The Daily Caller. Footage showed one individual pouring a drink on Kirk.

“Dear Antifa, the year is not 1960 and I am not Ruby Bridges,” Owens tweeted. “Your threats of violence do not scare me. I will be walking through the front door of UPENN today with my head held high. You racist white Democrats didn’t win back then—and you won’t win now.”
