Lost in the Justin Amash runs for President News is that he pulled out of the race for his House seat in Michigan’s 3rd district, making him the 637th House Republican to retire this term (slight exaggeration.) The Democrat Hillary Scholten has an edge in this historically Republican district according to an internal poll.

Young Kim (R) is officially headed for a rematch with Gil Cisneros (D-Inc) in California’s 39th district, one of the seats with the closest margins in 2018. This was Ed Royce’s old seat in Orange County that the Ds flipped.
