Maybe it’s s glorified caterer’s position, but he’s surely enmeshed in some of what will surface in the impeachment inquiry. His former boss in State, Sean Lawler, was already the subject of an Office of the Inspector General inquiry.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they went back to Philadelphia, although he was controversial there, too - at one point taxpayers were paying the utility bills for a restaurant he owned there. At a minimum, people are entitled to ask Anastasia whether they’d stay in Virginia through the end of 2023. We shouldn’t have to foot the bill for another special election.

So no more work on the vital revision of boundary policy.
Brabrand can't say "One Fairfax" to parents.
Magically enough votes for a boundary study appear. (What they actually do remains to be seen, they haven't exactly been above board so far)

Go listen to the boundary work sessions. Pay special attention to Pat Hynes. Look at the changes to the policy that they were planning. Doesn't take rocket science. It's in writing and on tape.

Anonymous wrote:Because fear and lies are all republicans have in their playbook. The amount of speculation, lies and fear lingering on DCUM regarding “boundary changes” is epic.
I can only assume it is a coordinated strategy.

You don't think there are any Dems involved in "One Great Falls?" Seriously?
Maybe there are a few nominal Democrats, but none with Democratic values. The entire reason for Voices of Fairfax’s existence is to protect the interests of a single community in Dranesville: Langley parents who think their neighborhoods, unique among those in the county, should be permanently exempt from any future boundary studies. They could not care less about the rest of Dranesville or Fairfax County.
Of course, they’ll claim they are making a one-time decision to cross party lines, but they’d be right at home in a Trump rally, as would the slate of all-Republican candidates endorsed by VOF, including those endorsed by right-wing fanatic Sebastian Gorka.

No way they had any updates on how long the renovation at LANGLEY would take.
Everyone who watched work sessions is imagining the invocation of One Fairfax as the reason for the boundary policy change.
Had to fix previous post. They absolutely didn't know that parents and students were upset. They absolutely did NOT tell Strauss that McLean had to wait for the new policy. Brabrand did not say "I get that there's tension" indicating that he knew kids were squished every day when there was space nearby and he just really really really wanted a new policy first.
The School Board was unable to address overcrowding with existing version 8130.7
