They put out a social media post or list on the clubs website where the player will be attending and playing college next year. Can any Barca parents of staff let us know who if any Barca players are playing in college this year. If anything it would give Barca some credibility within the DMV soccer community. Fair question?
Yes and two were signed overseas. It was a small group of kids that graduated last year. Their upper age groups are small, often 1 team.
Who are they ? where are they playing in college and who were the others and where overseas are they playing?

The player pool given how tiny it is compared to just about any other area club (where teams 1-2, and even 3 are similar) isn’t as deep. Location is a huge problem.
But, the coaching and training sessions are fantastic. To me- seriously the most important factor. No comparison.
But how the hell is a Nashville thread turning into a “bash Barca” thread yet again....sigh.
In my mind, Barca's cost is a much bigger problem than their location. They need to think hard about lowering the cost significantly if they want to improve the quality of their talent pool.
Is the cost what is keeping you from signing up your kid with Barca?
For me, the cost of the program is an important consideration along with the quality of the player pool. If my kid can play on a stronger team for less, why place my kid on a more expensive, lower level team? Lowering the cost of the program would be the first step to improving the quality of the player pool and building a strong program.
So here is the disconnect that you and others like you have trouble wrapping your mind around.
Typical Barca parents prioritize the training over the player pool or the team designation. And realistically, if your kid is a B, C or D team player currently then how much of a realistic step up is that “better” team that you speak of that offers B, C, D team level coaching to win in NCSL? The parents and kids like the style of play they are being coached. So what is the real difference in possible future outcomes of playing on Loudoun White versus Barca?
Sorry about the disconnect, but the quality of the player pool affects the quality of training. If the players can't execute, the coaches are limited in what they can teach. If Barca's target players are B, C or D team players from other clubs, then the current pricing structure is fine. However, making the program more affordable is likely to attract better and more talented players, which will raise the overall competitive level of the program.
