Exactly. I'm the poster who said a lot of it has to do with your bearing. I try to remind my daughter (and myself) to keep her shoulders back. It really helps.

If you have a sailboat in the background. Or walking from a helicopter pad with your children, or standing on a grassy oceanfront lot........

The least elegant of these is the orange shirt. If she was pushing a cart around Giant, that wouldn’t be “elegant.” I think part of it is the setting + simple look.


Maybe... good point. But I do think elegance has a lot to do with bearing and she always looked so cool and confident. That goes a long way.
