Great place for gear and good guys working behind the counter too. Haven't heard whether or not Metro Utd will still use them for gear, it's possible though. Thanks for your input.
Considering that GFR has formed an alliance with Sterling SC, it's safe to assume they will be a partner club of Metro United. Maybe not...but probably so

"Additional partnerships to be announced" also acknowledges the fact that GFR is the base from which the DA program will be built. The "partnerships" will be paper tigers. Otherwise, it would have been announced prior to tryout time to create hype and player pool migration.
GFR will provide the bulk of resources required to meet DA standards.
There is no real money in the DA game for the clubs. Ask Larry and Christian. The real financial winner is US Soccer.
Metro United, Spirit or whomever cant unseat the reigning champs of central fairfax, BRYC and McLean.
Of course they can. The kids those clubs cut said they can so they will.

We did not want to wait a year and miss out on the growth that will come from full time training and playing games at a higher speed of play. Good luck to everyone in making your decisions.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:So the issues at Spirit were caused by the pro team affiliation? Now that’s over so they’ll be successful. Really? People believe this?
Spirit out, Vienna in.
