I wondered but her husband kissed her at the end so probably not. I admire her for not being insecure about it. It's life.

I thought the exact same thing. I figured it was herpes. I noticed the editors were kind to include more shots from the good side. But then the husband kissed her and that made me think not herpes.

It’s a mole.

Not the mole... there's that too, but She has a sore on her bottom lip... Then later, as the show progresses, she has one on her upper lip.

I've redid my dresser. My closet was already in good shape.
The folding really does save space and makes it so much easier to see what you have. I think I can keep it up.

I also talked one of my teens into redoing his dresser.

Just having her show on my watchlist reminds me to de clutter.

I do a smaller version. I de clutter by category order. I don’t thank or fold.

I found the first couple (mostly the wife) beyond annoying. Every third word out of their mouth was ‘babe’. I just started fast forwarding to the scenes with Marie. I agree with op that it seems like their marriage is doomed. ‘We only fight about housecleaning and money’. That’s like 60% of living together as a couple.

Hoping second episode has better people.

We did half our kitchen yesterday (yes I know I started in the wrong order). I thought we were pretty good about getting rid of stuff but when we pulled out all the stuff of the same category (bowls, drinking glasses, etc) we clearly had way too much. We also moved things around in a much more logical way. So much better already and we are only half way through. The method is subtle but it works. Clearly it’s going to take a long time to do the whole house though.

I had both her books and had never made it through them. I have two kids (oldest is eight) and the sheer amount of stuff we’ve accumulated since the oldest was born was overwhelming. I also work FT so there never seemed to be enough time or a good time to undertake a massive purge. Additionally, I had (and still have as I’m not finished with her system yet) stuff piling up - papers future projects, etc. Our house, particularly the common areas, wasn’t messy, but I was feeling overwhelmed and daunted.

Anyway, I watched the show and I found it highly motivating. I did my clothes. I thought it would take a few hours, but it took me into the evening. That said, it has since made my life easier. I can find ourfits, matching tights, etc. with no delay. I haven’t traveled yet, but I think it will help cut down the time it will take to pack because everything is so organized.. I am wearing clothes that were neglected and I purged some very expensive designer stuff because it simply didn’t look that good on me.

It’s been great and I plan to start on decluttering my books today. I fully buy in to the system because it’s hard to set up, but easy to maintain. It will save time and create more harmony and appreciation at home. Her system is deeper than just organizing and it is hard work too. I don’t think life-changing is an overstatement.
