Nah. The things that make men attractive - wealth and status - improve with age, and compensate for any decline in looks. Any decline in male looks is easily mitigated at the gym - it's mainly a matter of not being weak and fat.
Meanwhile, the thing that makes women attractive - their looks - declines with age in an inevitable and irreversible way. Sad!
Lol! If you really believe this, you are sadly mistaken. Old men are old men, whether or not they hit the gym, and for the most part unattractive. As for money, very very few men have the type of wealth to attract younger women, and those who do are just being used for their money while their hot young wives bang younger, hotter men who can still get it up without a pill on the side. Sad!
Don't forget the minority of younger women with Daddy issues. They are out there for the taking if you're a reasonably attractive middle-aged man.
LOL at the aging, jealous women who always say that younger women are only attracted to older men if the younger women are after money or have "daddy issues". Meow, meow, hiss, hiss! You don't know what you're talking about, and your motives are transparent. Sad!
I am so thankful to those fathers for their part in creating these daddy issues. I've certainly benefited from it. I don't know how small this "minority of younger women with Daddy issues" really is, but I've had no problem finding them. I'm in my early 60s and wouldn't date any women 50 or over.
Why? That's lame.

I know right? There should be a 5th grade class on this. Men think about sex..... with every single woman he sees who is even remotely attractive. I am shocked at how many women don't get this.
They get it until they hit the wall, and then they whine about being invisible and start hating on men's "immature" lust for hot young women.
The thing men seem to overlook is that they hit the wall just as hard, and then they are equally as invisible and irrelevant to those hot young women.
That hasn't been my experience. I've gotten way more attention as I've gotten older than I did when I was younger. Some of it is daddy issues, but a lot of the women I've met have the perception that guys their age are immature. They seem to want someone stable. It can't be about money, because I don't spend any on them. The attractive women closer to my age also show more attention, but I think that's because they don't get the attention they used to, and they don't know how to live without a constant dose of a man's attention. I think that as we age, we switch roles. We go from being the hunters to being the hunted.
I'm okay with that.
Hmm, interesting. As a woman in my forties I get a lot more male attention than I did in my twenties. I wonder if it has to do with the pool of attractive women in my age range being smaller. Alas, I am happily married but it is fascinating.

Nevertheless, it’s true, and always has been.

That's sort of like....bragging about how you get to eat at Michelin restaurants....by raiding their dumpsters after closing. Sure, it's better than McDonald's, but you're still a dumpster diver eating garbage.
So what? It's not like I'm going to marry her.

You don't get it. Probably you'll never get it. The sex thoughts flash through the brain unbidden and are gone in a fraction of a second. They cause no distraction, no pain, no frustration. It's like any other random thought generated by the monkey mind.
If the man was actively thinking, with his conscious mind, for a lengthy period about having sex with some fantasy woman,* then that could be a cause of distraction and frustration, but that's different from the transient "up from the subconscious" sex thoughts.
* To be sure, men have those "deliberate" types of fantasies, too... for example when they're masturbating.

THIS
And to have all these fantasies of women you can’t have is frustrating.
