They haven’t started any charity initiatives if their own because they don’t care enough to.
Agree with the pp, why are you so invested? Why do you care SO much?
Why do you care SO much that I care? I think they are lazy and over privileged for nothing.
Which is why there are so few monarchies left. A lot of people agree. However, the Royal family brings in a lot of revenue via merchandise sales, tourism pounds, etc etc which has been pointed out numerous times. So if they actually do earn their keep, then what? What do you think should happen here if they don't act more grateful? And if you aren't British you are spending a lot of time spinning your wheels on something that has no affect on your life.
A lot of British people say they respect the queen but only the queen. So once she passes if Charles and William don't step it up I could see them abolishing it.

Okay you've made that point repeatedly. Do you think obsessively posting about it here is going to punish them in some way? Maybe find a way to channel your energy into something more productive. They don't even know you exist!

Maybe they do but, they aren't expected to do what William has to do. He had no choice in the matter. He has to live his life publicly doing this job. And again, we aren't talking about most people. If you are the pp it sounded like you had a tragic story. But, I see you don't. Prince William and Harry's story is unique in that their mother was shared by everyone. They had to grieve in public but, with a stiff upper lip. If you have zero sympathy than I say you have no heart.
Doesn't Harry have the same tragic story and also thrust into the public position? He was quite young and his mother died just a few days before his birthday. He's not loafing it.
Good point!
Harry has”made the best of his position,” as you put it, by using his influence in the world to do some good and create a lasting impact with the Invictus Games and his other charity Sentable, which he can feel proud about. Meghan already has her cookbook.
Meanwhile William has no charity initiatives of his own, nor does Kate. And before you say that’s because he’s the heir not the spare, that’s not it. While waiting for his turn as king, Charles created the Prince’s Trust a huge charity in Britain. When Prince Charles asked him to take it over for him, William said no!!! He is soooooo lazy it’s unbelievable.
What do you say to that PP?
I say here are Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge's causes: More than nothing I would say!

Responding this as the list was unimaginable. William and Kate have signed up to support a lot of excellent patronages but they show up to support them almost never. Some patronages have gone a year in between visits, others get a drive-by 20-minute walk-through. The reasons the patronages are clamoring for support from Camilla and Charles for example are because they visit with every patronage multiple times a year, fundraise for them extensively, and are knowledgeable about the patronage causes.
Meanwhile Wills + Kate can't handle what they have, don't bother half the time and when they do go - can't speak on anything of value. If Kate does a visit, half the time she is photographed out front, speedwalked into private exhibit, and jumps out the back door in under thirty minutes. If she goes with someone else and actually says something you get lovely quotes like this "Can you test the smell by smelling it?"
Not too bright is she.
What an embarrassment.
Hahaha at yet she still landed a prince and lives in palaces.
