I don’t know statistically but I’m white and I know significantly more black women who were killed by a stranger in DC than white women.


I know of significantly more black women who were killed in sketchy areas. This is unique because of the location. White people are supposed to be safe in Logan’s circle. That’s got everyone freaked out.

I'm a petite white women, have lived in DC proper since 1994, and have not been the victim of a crime once. And I've been all over the city, yes, even at night.

This was a freak incident. Horrible for sure, but not common.

I live in Silver Spring (Four Corners) and my area continually gets crapped on over on the real estate forum. To date, according to that map, no homicides. I'll take that.

Why does it matter? Do you honestly believe there's some kind of random hate crime epidemic against white women? FWIW I'm sure it's higher for black women, it just doesn't get reported. I posted a link to a murder near Gaulludet this year of a black women that got basically zero news coverage.
