Not always. In Parkwood, Kensington houses and Bethesda houses are right next to each other!

Woodside is one of the prettiest neighborhoods in the whole metro area. I live in a cheaper neighborhood but always admire it in my jogs through it

Parts of Woodside. Also, some heavily renovated or infill houses are starting to go for that in East Silver Spring, near downtown.
