UChicago comes in at #18. UVA is not in the rankings at all (it goes to 150 for the full list).
These rankings rank schools only if they participate in the ranking game. Not all colleges and unis submit stats to USNews for example. These get rank low or don't appear on the list. With fly-by-night ranking players, most people don't even know of their ranking "services." It's like Who's Who in America, a pay-for-fee listing service.
