So, today the media is all over a DACA vote. What people are not listening to, or even realize, is that McConnell’s offer was not just for a DACA or immigration. The second part of the statement ties all of these things together! This offer and agreement opens everything up to everyone’s golden ticket.

Democrats are such suckers! The only ones who came out ahead were some of the Democratic senators who voted against it who can tell their base that they stuck up for DACA. I mean senators like Harris .......

No assurance that Ryan will go along with anything that his caucus finds unacceptable and Trump could still veto anything that does not meet his requirements.

I can't see the Democrats wanting to link DACA to another shut down because ultimately it was an unwinnable situation: shut down the government affecting tens of millions of Americans to champion the cause of illegals.


The Republicans agreed to make this contingent on a vote on February 8th. They set things up for another shutdown.
