The Board of Education hires and supervises the Superintendent, not the County Commissioner. I don't see why it would have any effect at all unless he is suppose to have secret spidey sense for when the Superintendent has hidden consulting agreements.

Madaleno had nothing to do with Hogan's school calendar executive order, and was quoted as being against the order.

When will the state report on the economic benefit of the mandate? 'They' said data would be available by late fall...

Nope, no way he’s getting re-elected. Md is a blue state and enough is enough.

I think Hogan is pretty bad on school funding but few people are truly aware of the school funding complexity and relationship with the state.

Hogan has a real opening to pick up votes in Montgomery County if he reaches out to the Asian American community that just was royally screwed by MCPS. Indian and Chinese voters will support a republican if he stands up for their equal right by merit for entry into educational programs or at least doesn't try to glare them down or walk out them the way many Montgomery County leaders do . I hope his office and campaign office reach out to them.

If he steers very clear of Trump he can pick up white voters in Montgomery County by promising tax breaks.

WTF Hogan is doing? Raiding the Education Trust Fund. Maryland schools were promised $1.8 billion in casino revenues, but Hogan has not delivered.
