You appear to be bitter that there are wealthy people in the US, pp. I am not even close to being wealthy, but I do not begrudge others who have wealth.
The wealthy in our country are the ones who provide jobs. Have you ever worked for a poor person, pp?

And other companies are following suit, in a big F.U. to liberals.
Oh great. I got a $25 gift card from my company, owned be a greedy Republican hedge fund. That is the Trump way.
Reminds me of the ultra-liberal CEO of a company I worked for. I devised a new system that saved $25,000 (annually) and they give me a $10 gift card to the Olive Garden. Plenty of cheap bosses to go around.
That said, you can go work for one of the companies that just handed out $1000 bonuses to hundreds of thousands of their rank and file. And there will be more to come.
The $1,000 bonus are PR/thank yous to Congress. There won't be more once the media attention shifts to other topics.
And it’s such a cynical let-em-eat-cake maneuver to boot. The combined total of these bonuses is only a fraction of the windfall AT&T will enjoy with this tax plan. The bonuses were a paltry sum and purely for show. More meaningless Trump style antics a la Carrier.
These bonuses are not a paltry sum for many people who are receiving them.
And that's the gist of it, isn't it? People like Trump think those in the middle class should be so happy with a paltry couple of hundred when millionaires get a few hundred thousand in tax cuts. You can't deny that the bulk of the tax cuts help the very rich a heck a lot more than the middle class.
How about those folks being laid off? They have plan to cut 10,000 more workers in the next couple of years. Sure, they should lay off people in areas where it's not profitable, but when Ford or Carrier does it, you blame the greedy execs.

Or maybe they just don’t like hypocritical republicans who claim they won’t balloon the deficit like libs, but then add a trillion to it.
