Why are we applauding any Hollywood celebrity for coming forward now? It's easy now. No risk. They cared more for their careers before.

Thanks. It looks like TMZ took the recording off that page I linked, it was there. Maybe the New Torker told them to take it off. I appreciate your finding the other link and posting. I really feel like people should listen to the recording, because it is a perfect example of harassment and attempted assault. This happened all the time, to famous and infamous women, to actresses and regular people in all kinds of settings. It should really disturb you and he fact that so many people probably knew and still associated with him.

OMG, this is the most horrifying thing I've EVER heard. Imagine him doing that to your daughter or sister. How much prison time will he get?

Clearly most of you on here have not been sexually harassed at work before. If you had, you would know you can't simply blow up your harasser without doing serious damage to yourself and your reputation. If you see a powerful man at work possibly sleeping with the hot new secretary, how do you know it isn't consensual? What are you supposed to do, go to the HR department of your big law firm and report that the managing partner seems to be having sex with a young secretary?

What Weinstein did is despicable. And it continued because countless people -- including the women he victimized -- failed to stand up and say something. He was an incredibly powerful man who did this to women who were not yet powerful at all. I think it's crappy to blame them and others instead of the the ONLY person who deserves the blame here -- Weinstein.

I read that Ronan writing this report was fulfilling his long vendetta against Weinstein because Miramax was the only studio to distribute Woody Allen's work immediately following his 90's scandal. Woody Allen owes his current career to Weinstein and for Ronan this is payback.

I'm not sure i believe that, but it would make a great movie.

Considering the type of people who run the entertainment industry, it makes sense that movies are so vulgar and ugly these days. I would not protest a sex scene that made sense in context, but I can't even watch most PG-13 movies with my mother in the room. It's embarrassing and gross and it's clear it's not "regular" people giving the green light in the movie industry.

Not impressed at all by Gwyneth's account. She continued to entertain and work with him for years and she had the parents and industry connections to get her story heard decades ago.

The recording is HORRIFYING. I just... it makes me so sad for all these young women he has destroyed and messed with and hurt. It makes me so sad for women everywhere that we have to deal with this horror
