I actually read it. I was not really referring to you as much as the fact that this many women have commented on your vent. I wasn't comparing weddings actually. Just saying that I am happy my wedding was small.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:LOL me too! I am still scratching my head trying to understand how this thread became this long...
It must be the word "wedding" that seems to set off the crazy in women.
I am grateful for my very simple wedding actually. No fancy decoration and I bought the flowers for my bouquet at Safeway and had my mom and sister put it together for me. The cake was small and simple and only my DH's family and my sister and mother were there.
I can tell you didn't read.
We have no family in the country so we called people close to us.
18 of his friends and 22 of mine.
out of the 40, 13 were children.
It was definitely a small thing. I made hair and make up myself and I didn't even have a real wedding gown. Only a simple white gown. I wish I could make the bouquet myself but unfortunately I had 13 guests in my apartment during the weekend and I anticipated I would not have time for it.
Anyway, the time will come that I'll look back and laugh at it. *sigh*

Isn't there a message board on theknot.com? Not that I care, but I need some entertainment while I eat my Ibero-American burrito.
People on DCUM don't get married?
I came here to research about adoption, I'm a teacher and I plan on to be a mother.
Is this a country club or something? Do I have to belong to a "certain class" to be part of it and I'm not aware of it?
That's funny!
See, she is just making it all up. Sometimes she acts like she's new to DCUM, and sometimes she says thing like she's been on DCUM for awhile. She didn't just happen upon the site to research adoption today.
One thing is clear - mental issues.
I never said I came here today to research adoption!!! I'm a teacher and a parent from one of my kids - who is adopted from Ibero-America - suggested me this website. I've been here for some time and I thought it would be cool to vent. It definitely was.
I'm almost over it... by the way it's cheaper than therapy
Money should not be the object when you need serious help. From reading your posts it sounds like you have serious mental problems. Please, get therapy.
