Hunter's kids are older. So, maybe this isn't as confusing and horrific for them as we were making it out to be.
It's still bizarre, but it's not like the kids are teeny tiny. Their youngest is 16.

I am certain they will make sure their grandchildren are well taken care of. Parents do their best to raise good, hard-working, responsible children, but it does not always turn out that way. Once a child is a grown-up adult the responsibility is on them.
This bears repeating. Not the parents' fault folks, especially when the parents appear to have done the best job they could, and to have provided plenty of love and support. A grown man is responsible for himself. The grandparents can invest their love and support in the next generation now.
I would have agrees with you had Biden not released a press release saying he was thrilled they found each other. Gross. The whole thing is a nightmare and so confusing for their kids. The VP and his wife would have been better served saying they were focused in their grandchildren and left it at that. Now we know the real reason Biden didn't run.

Because Ivanka's black silky nightgown is politics and Joe and Jill Biden releasing a statement about their imploding family is entertainment. Duh!
ROFL
What is the Ivanka nightgown bruhaha?
