I went to Be Lite after going to Dr. Anchors (because it was closer). They compound their own phentermine and give it to you in 15 (mg?) pills. I found it hard to mimic the effect of the prescription strength 37.5 that you get with Dr. A. 30 was too little and 45 was too much. I also found the 5-HTP/carbidopa didn't really do anything for cravings. YMMV.
Curious as to the cost- I was shocked that my visit w/ Anchors was only $140 for the (weird, weird, weird) 45 minute counseling sesh and 120 pills. What does Be Lite charge?

Me again. Well, damn, that didn't take long. LOL LOL LOL
How are you feeling?? I have my first appt with Anchors in about a week and am nervous about the first day of trying it. Do you feel weird? Also, any tips for a Newbie at her first appt with Anchors? Also I have about 25 lbs to lose but not really much more, and because I am tall and muscular I carry it well. Will he still prescribe to me?
He will, he may just give a lecture on how not every woman needs to look like Barbie, and how men like a woman with curves (which bothered me a bit, because my appearance is not for the sole purpose of pleasing my husband). Anyway, I just sort of sat there and nodded, and maybe said something about wanting clothes to fit better.
Fwiw, I'm 5'3" and have been on for about a month. Down about 10 pounds so far, with 13 to go. I agree that can actually be hard to eat enough, and I'm only aiming for 1000-1200 calories per day. But I used to snack a lot at night, so I've always tried to eat super light during the day to compensate. Now, i have no desire to snack at night, but I'm still not eating much during the day. Even when my body feels hungry, my brain doesn't really want to eat and food doesn't seem super appealing. Which is crazy, because I feel like my day used to revolve around thinking about food.
For side effects, the first few days I definitely had that super caffeinated jittery feeling, but that subsided. I also didn't sleep well for a couple of weeks - like, maybe 4-5 hours a night, but I didn't feel tired. I sort of wish that hadn't worn off. But now it's pretty much back to normal. I notice I sweat more, esp under my arms. Maybe feel a bit more chill from the Prozac, but not significantly. Not tons more amorous, but maybe less disinclined, of that makes sense?

Oh yikes, I like to go to bed at 9 or 10pm because i have to get up around 5am. Will that not be possible on PhenPro?
PP here. I also get up between 5 and 6 AM. The key for me is to take it right after I get up, basically in lieu of coffee. If I forget and haven't taken it by 9AM at the latest, I skip that day.
I'm usually 8:30am, no later than 9am on a weekday. Friday or Sat may go to 9:30am if I forgot earlier.
