No, I don't think it's bullshit. Emotional connections can crop up and disappear quite easily.

I think "emotional connection" and sex is mostly just talking in circles. When a woman says she needs to have an emotional connection to want to have sex with a guy, it mainly just means she wants to have sex with a guy.

Why? Literally everyone I know who has slept with one person fits one of the three categories.
NP- I think the opposite is true. The unattractive, chunky women always have higher numbers. It's a self-esteem thing or daddy issues. The really attractive, undamaged women aren't sleeping around.

4 technically, I had a one night stand I guess, but it was literally over with in about 15 seconds... other three were one serious boyfriend from 14-19 (didn't lose virginity mutually until we were 18) and another serious boyfriend from 20-21. Met DH at 21 shortly after a difficult breakup and the one night stand.
I think this number was fine and i don't feel bad in any way about it but had DH and I not met until later I suspect I would have experimented a bit more. DH had one previous partner to me that was also a one night stand (I do believe this btw) so I think we are unusual.
I was just thinking that this sort of conversation with women rarely comes out in real life... maybe at a campfire or two with booze involved. I don't actually know this number percisely for even some of my close girlfriends.

Sorry. I meant over 10 but I am not counting. I enjoy sex very much. I have the sex drive of a guy. My ex and I used to have sex 3-5 times a ay and sometimes that wasn't enough for me.

somewhere between 30 and 35. Met DH when I was 36, monogamous since. Love DH, but sometimes I miss how much damn fun I had in between about 28 and 35.
