Mark my words, there will soon be a day the private schools will cringe at having to play Express and the MoCo publics like Churchill and Whitman and QO.

Dematha is the only one that's nationally known for decades and decades. Iconic.

Prep will be back .. Bullis will eventually fade out. Bullis has periodic success in wrestling and other sports but never had staying power because it doesn't offer the prestige that Gonzaga, GP , Landon or Dematha.
Those schools mean something . When people graduate from them people notice it for life when you get asked where you went to high school.
In DC area it's
St Albans , GP, Gonzaga, Landon, Dematha, Holton, Stone Ridge, Visitation that turns heads for life.
Among publics TJ, Churchill ,Whitman ,Blair are probably it.
