Esp. before we go blaming Rich. I think what this person is trying to say is that it is frustrating to see our club crumble when it didn't have to. and what makes it even more frustrating is that the leaders, the people that ultimately botched the TD selection, do not take ownership of their mistake, but seem to be throwing Rich under the bus to deflect the attention and anger away from themselves.
The leaders aren't doing that. The general membership is angry with Rich. One or two cranks on this message board have a personal issue with past and/or present board members.
And make no mistake -- the next Board election will be fascinating. It may split into a pro-Rich and anti-Rich slate.

I uderstand your message regarding the disappointment with Rich. I think the majority of us are. But, I still dont think that you are understanding the point with the person that has been bantering with you. I think that, while he concurrs that Rich is indeed a significant roadblock to VYS's success, he is trying to drive home that there is a reason for that. Not taking sides, but he is basically saying that Rich didn't land himself at VYS without assistance. I see that point, to a degree. I also see that everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect. It has turned out to be a very costly mistake. I dont even know that it is necessarily a pro Eddie Lima debate. he was great, I won't take away from that. But I think it's more a frustration with the decision to make the drastic change when things seemed to most folks to be going pretty well. A lack of understanding of why the decision happened without any input from the members upset some. Whats done is done. It is just a shame that the board allowed it to get to this severe state.<I guess it is a responsibility issue. I don't know if he is talking about his frustrations or speaking for a group but to be honest I have heard more grumbling than usual... esp with the recent firings. I just hope the board is being on the up and up because I am afraid if it is learned that any transparency was intentionally withheld, it would be very costly to the club. I dont know that on a board like this is the place to sort that out but, people get emotional when it comes to their kids.

Luckily one of the individuals that made it impossible for eddie to fullfill his job,as well as pretty much everyone looking for fieldspace in the club, is finally gone. I'm sure that did not make her BFF happy. pretty sure that wouldn't have happened with Mike still prez. they each do try to look out for their own...
You clearly have no idea who is on the board and who used to be. Or you're just deliberately confusing things.
Two board members have been there forever. A few more started in 2014. A few more started in 2015, after Rich was hired.
I'm done trying to correct the record about Eddie's departure. He had a complicated, untenable business deal, and they couldn't work it out. He's missed. So is Jane, and so are many other coaches.
Then the TD search was botched, and Rich is the result. He's the man behind killing Friday night free play, and he's responsible for much of the turnover within the club.
Those are facts. Deal with them as you like.
hahaha oh he didn't miss, believe me! But truth be told. this is less about Eddie's departure than it is about the underhanded, unethical arrogant individuals that have lied to us and destroyed our club... mainly Ryan, Mike Margaret the others were just side kicks with no back bone like Jag

and trust me I know exactly who the board members are.
