Exactly! They have to kill a dog that can easily be isolated but they let uncontrollable humans wander free even if they are Ebola carriers. How would the dog catch it anyway. They don't even share a bathroom. Thought it was hard to catch.

People in affected countries are experiencing the equivalent of the Black Death. Of course they are going to leave if they can, getting to a country where there is hope of good treatment would be top on my list if I knew I was exposed. Wouldn't be on yours?
I understand that we don't want to put a travel ban on affected countries. I don't understand why we can't ban non essential travel.

For me, that's a reason for optimism here. I have little faith in our government's ability to get on top of this. But I do think our physicians and research scientists will do everything possible to come up with cures or vaccines. But it will take a while.
