Wootton capacity: 2,156. Wootton current enrollment: 2,259. Wootton is at 105% of capacity.

First let's actually establish that Starr and his "cronies" (really? cronies?) are actually deliberately keeping some clusters (which clusters?) overcrowded while keeping Churchill and Wootton clusters below capacity. Not convinced it's a conspiracy but there are a lot of questions to their decision making process, many have been covered in this thread. But Starr is not the only one who deserves to have fingers pointed in his direction. These were issues long in the making and he's only been in the post for a few years. True, the schools, good or bad, are his responsibility. But the county council and the board of education share a significant part of the blame for this lack of planning. I hope people who post to this thread also are writing to their elected officials on the council and the board demanding action. And don't stop at one letter, e-mail or phone call. Follow-up and keep doing it until you get an answer to your satisfaction. Also, get your neighbors and other parents to do the same. One voice may be ignored but many voices cannot. Get active. That's how change is made.

Seems unlikely that Starr would not include his own children's cluster on the favored list. His own kid's school is over crowded.
