No. I am the one who quoted the chipotle post, which I actually thought was unnecessarily cruel.

Yes, because the mom being hungry and isolated will help the baby eat.

And she had said that the baby did well when distracted...so taking the baby out for people watching seems like good parenting, not bad parenting.

Honestly, if you can't at least read and comprehend the posts please keep the judgment to yourself.

Can you read? I quoted and responded to the chipotle post calling her a horrible mother. Am not the person who wrote it.

If I can't read, neither can you. Let's just bask in our mutual illiteracy and support for OP, shall we?

"The last few are sock puppets" - clearly meaning the mean ones.

Then you come jumping in saying that the last few are NOT sock puppets.

This thread is officially a sh*tshow.

OP, I have read each and every one of your comments and you come across as an incredibly committed, kind, patient and intelligent person. Please ignore the mean person who is clearly sock-puppeting here. I wish I was your friend.

She said a couple pages back that she is too lazy to consider it. The gist of it is that she and her husband believe has to put her own mental health before her daughter's physical health.

+100 OP should never have become a mom- a selfish cruel person.

It makes me so sad that people make this horrifying comments for fun.

OP - I suspect that there are one or two terrible people harping in and trying to attack you. I don't know why. Please know that the vast majority of us understand that you're doing what is best for your kid. I think that there is one (or perhaps a small group) of people hopping onto DCUM threads just to be cruel. I think they're trying to kill the site somehow. No one in real life thinks these things. ::big hug::

I am going to hope some of these posters that are being so incredibly awful are trolls so I don't lose faith in humanity

I've been following this thread from the beginning. OP was criticized earlier for not taking DD outside. Apparently she was preventing her child from getting fresh air and mental stimulation. Once she takes her out and then she's criticized for being selfish. Poor woman can't win with some of you. It seems you take pleasure in beating her down.

Please drop the relactating. You've already beaten this dead horse pages ago so stop f*cking it in the ass.

You two are fundamentally flawed human beings. I don't say this lightly, but there is something truly, seriously, wrong with you, and I hope that you have the resources you need to empty yourselves of the hostility and bitterness you have.

Please don't have children.

Or maybe it has to do with the fact that it is just plain upsetting to hear about a mother who won't do everything in her power to help her starving child and be powerless to do anything about it.

Or maybe you are being deliberately obtuse and pretending you know absolutely everything about OP's situation. You don't. Why can't you just assume that she is doing the best she can? Step back and re-read OP's posts. Does she seem like a child abusing monster to you? If no, assume that she has a reason for not doing what you think she should do.

This reminds me someone accusing an expectant mom of leaving crumbs from a girl scout cookie binge, only to have the OP reveal shortly thereafter that she is actually in a very abusive relationship. Stop looking for opportunities to be mean and cut others down. You don't care about this woman's baby.
