There are many cases like this (Utah being the biggest offende). Terry Achane was another-the adoptive parents in his case decided to give up and he regained custody. His case was actually in South Carolina. Perhaps South Carolina will follow in Utah's footsteps.

she probably does not even remember the Capobiancos. Is it really about her they are thinking of? She has now grandparents, a sister, a dad, a mom with the Brown family as well.
The point is, she never should have been taken away in the first place.

Brown agreed to the date, not very long before the meeting itself. His parents and wife who are currently watching her, also did not bring Veronica to the meeting. Are they serving in the national guard as well? Could he not have given the court a copy of his ordered schedule, to arrange for a re-schedule? The number of excuses people make for this guy are unbelievable.

In the first of such meetings that he agreed to, Brown failed to show up with the Capobianco's daughter. This means that he has now been ordered to hand Veronica to her parents on Monday - with no transition.
Brown is a controlling, deadbeat jerk. He doesn't care about what's in the interest of Veronica. He doesn't care about the law. He cares about his pride and ego, and "winning."

Or could it be that he actually cares about his daughter

Why the rush to process everything. Has he not been denied due process rights? Could this still be appealed on those grounds alone?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Brown did not fail to appear at the transition meeting. He is serving as a national guard in another state. Nah, don't get hung up on facts. Whether Brown is a controlling deadbeat jerk who wants to win, or he is a father who (for some crazy reason) wants to keep and raise his daughter without giving her away or harming her further, is up to the viewer and cannot be determined by objective analysis.
