Mine was a nice vermilion cardstock, written in calligraphy. It must mean DC is one deemed profoundly eligible.

We included a recommendation letter from first grade teacher (out of FCPS), but mostly because DC has an October 2005 birthday and should be in first grade instead of second grade. Previous school had different age cutoff.

CCD teacher who also teaches kindergarten in public school, Leader from Scouts, parent from school who worked with him in the classroom on special research projects, soccer coach and me.

Our AART is like that too and that's why I did not ask to see the file. I was too intimidated I guess.

We didn't include any recommendation letter. Just some certificates and work samples.

My DC has similar scores. Would you still schedule a meeting with the AART if she hasn't been supportive in the process? She's kind of an odd one, and hard to get a read. The teacher also does not discuss aap process with any parents.

97% FAT
11 GBRS
Report cards are mostly 3s, some 2s, although 2nd quarter this year jumped up to almost all 4s
DC is IN.

I can't understand how some kids with such high scores did NOT get in. I hope the parents appeal. I can only assume that a file got put in the wrong pile.
