If you would not mind sharing, what were the CogAT/NNAT scores for your child?

I assume that all scores have been held up....I was wondering if any parents have received info that their kid is in the screening pool. Some parents (from other schools) have been receiving their letters.

Has anyone from Bailey's received an "in-pool" letter?

With GBRS playing a critical role, school staff can certainly influence who will look best to the central committee. I'm not saying that this actually happens. I do not know what happens and would rather believe that the process is fair and objective.

I agree. GBRS is good if done fairly. Otherwise it is going to mess with the kids future. They should really give WISC or other IQ tests to everyone instead of NNAT & COGAT and not use any GBRS.

Who will pay for all those WISCs?

Parents.

This is the way it was done in the past, before the GT---> AAP explosion.
GMU provides free WISC IV testing to those on free and reduced lunch.
