This report is sobering. Some of the schools had many more freshmen than seniors last year. Either there were boundary changes or the drop-out rates at schools like Gaithersburg and Kennedy were very high.



Transience is an issue, as is the drop out rate. Kennedy is in the DCC. So there is competition among the schools (Blair, Einstein, Kennedy, Northwood, Wheaton).

I shared that comment with three friends - one black, one African, one Asian. All three took offense. My black friend is a diversity trainer. So you can imagine how HE felt about it.

You don't get it.

That was a racist comment. Anyone who makes a such a statement is a racist.
