People are are judgmental. Period.

They tend to try to take others down, which just makes themselves look bad.

People who complain and do The same thing over and over again. People who think because they have money they are better than other people with less. People who put down neighborhoods and school districts. People who really do have it all and still find it in them to complain about ridiculous things. People who can't be around people who don't drink...seriously are you that insecure? Know it alls. People on extreme edges of political spectrum, deems and republicans. People who preach, spout religion in a judgy way. People who are insensitive to people around them. People that lack situational awareness. Better stop... Seems like I don't like a lot of people! I really try to find the positive in everyone I meet and interact with.... But these things make me dislike, respect you. I will not show it but inside I am annoyed, disappointed and frustrated to have to interact with you.

I know someone who was so jealous of others she would actually make things up about them. For example, she was jealous of a really nice womb in our preschool who happened to be well, nice. She also happened to be pretty and have one of those lives everyone else thinks they want. But basically, she was nice. The jealous woman would try to make her look bad by making up outrageous things. Once she tried to say the nice woman drinks too much. Everyone stood up for her, I was glad to see, since they had spent more time around her (than the jealous woman did).

So, I can't hang around anyone who is that jealous. It must really eat that kind of person up every day.

Aren't self sufficient.

Complain that they think they somehow have it worse that the next guy (thinly veiled whining).

Are lazy, and/or nosy about how the next guy has it "so much better" (duh, because they are not lazy).

Ditto the freeloader, PP! Needy, needy, needy = gone, gone, gone. Time suck or energy suck = no thanks.

Don't enjoy their children, or at least try to. While this doesn't have to be 24/7, I am not in charge of minding their every move while they are trying to destroy my house; or having a colossal meltdown and endangering others or themselves.

Don't strive to be their best (of themselves, not anyone else).

Shallow people who have to have this or that and complain about money. WHAT??!!

People who can barely afford where they live/school/whatever, expect everyone else to pick up their slack/responsibilities, when they would be much more happy and comfortable just about anywhere else.

A PP earlier has said she can't be friends with workaholics. Well, I can't be friends with people who sit on their lazy asses and complain all day long. I know a woman who lives off spousal support and bitches constantly how it is not enough. Her only child is in middle school. Get a job already or STFU!

I know men who do this. And who cut off their wives when they are talking. I am always surprised when people do this.

For my above reason..they go on and on that they are so smart and how Pres Obama is so wonderful (I could not disagree more)..I usually stay silent so they have no idea that I have little respect for them..just want to get along in the school/sport settings and not make life hell for my dc who plays with their kids. FWIW...I hate talking politics with friends I even agree with but the libs just are so smug and ususally with no reason..ie I would not brag that it has taken me 20 years to pay off student loans when you graduate from Harvard or Princeton...I would be embarrassed that I am a financial mess ..and no I would not take a low paying "prestige" job if I had debt. Coming for school like those...I would have my financial house in order before I was "saving" the world
