So, so many of these shows are not wildly popular. Most of them were critically acclaimed, but had relatively small audiences and others are just random shows people are picking.

Neither was better than Three's Company.

Thats just weird. 3s company was the same show every week.

Friends living together having dating problems is hardly an original concept.

For me, I disliked the short lived Sci-fi series Timeless. Critics and audience was raving about that, but I found it boring and poorly written and patronising. I don't see what was so special about it. I'm glad that they cancelled it (twice). I stopped after two episodes when I realized it was not getting any better. The storylines in the plots was ridiculous and then they threw in that whole plot to create a mythology around the series that did not work at all. Plus, I did not like the lead character.

The last season of Game of Thrones ruined all the other seasons of Game of Thrones for me.

Outlander started off well too, and then jumped the shark.

Really hate the main characters of Gilmore Girls, so never could get into it.

I don't totally regret it but feel it was overrated and wound up really disliking the last few seasons. My husband actually got nightmares while watching the last season because it was just so dark and violent.

It took us a long time to watch Better Call Saul because of that experience even though a lot of people like it better than BB. We did eventually, and agree it's a better show, and it's not as dark and miserable. The ending is practically uplifting by comparison. In the end the Jimmy character wound up being a lot more interesting and had a lot more redeeming qualities than Walt.

With BB I actually couldn’t get into it until sometime in the 2nd season I think it was. Whenever Walt went and blew up the middle man while wearing that hat that ended up becoming his trademark hat. For me that’s when it went from a sort of dark goofy nerdy comedy to a dark drama. It got way more interesting from there to me.

Side note - Westworld qualifies as one of the shows that fell off the hardest from a great Season 1.

True Detective also gets an award for this.

Was Alf awful? It was a teeny bit before my time so I only caught a few episodes in the 80s and liked it ok, but didn’t really delve into it. Also, there was that show about the girl whose parent was an alien living on another planet, and she communicated with her via a crystal ball maybe? And she had special powers to stop time? Yeah that show was eh.
