Congratulations to your child!
It seems like kids emotions are running high right now and they are not exactly thinking straight. There’s been so much pressure and in the end it really is a lottery for these top schools. It’s a difficult time for a lot of kids.

The kid is in Columbia and waitlisted at Barnard. Why are you talking up Barnard?

What sucks is when you see in SCOIR that you are so much higher in stats than the kids where you end up going. Like, seriously???



Then they should do really well in college.

What sucks is when you see in SCOIR that you are so much higher in stats than the kids where you end up going. Like, seriously???

Very few generally. I’ve posted more than once on different threads so some of these WLs may be the same posters.

How many kids is Harvard waitlisting? I’ve already heard of several. Why waitlist so many kids when your waitlist generally doesn’t move??
