The zr1x hybrid is 1.68 seconds on a prepped surface, 1.89 on a normal track. The starting MSRP is 207k. Real world is probably a hair over 2 seconds, just like the fastest teslas out there.

Not really, zr1 is under $200k while the base is around $70k

The average age of a Corvette buyer isn't materially different than that of a Ferrari - it's just when people finally reach a stage of life that enables the purchase. They have enough money, their kids don't need a car seat, they have a house with a garage, etc. It makes sense that these kinds of cars are mostly purchased by a more mature demographic.

Either way, the C8 is absolutely amazing. It's the best automotive bargain, hands down. It's not on my buy list, but I'm really glad they exist and that they're popular.

I kinda get old school Corvettes (though not my taste), but there is no version of anyone old or young looking strong or confident in this outside of a race track. Screams weakness.
