Hey, Riley Gaines would have been the highest non medal winning finisher! She was robbed of the chance to be the biggest loser in swimming, so she had to leave swimming to earn that distinction in politics

Riley Gaines got 5th place. Lia Thomas tied her for 5th place. If Lia Thomas had not competed in the race, Riley Gain would have instead received 5th place.

This isn't really related to this post though. I just wanted to make a small correction
