I love how people blame this on white people. The cases against AA were largely brought by Asians. It has been widely pointed out for years that ending AA would see Asian enrollment skyrocket.
Very few white people are losing sleep over this. Those who care the most are the progressives who now talk about it's not the same if the campus becomes 70% Asian because all those poor black students aren't there and we can't get their lived experiences to educate and inform us.

I think “race war” is extreme. I think people are just going to move the goal posts. People are going to say the elite schools and the ivy’s don’t matter so their kids can still find their way into top jobs.
They will try but unless someone can make the argument that admission to the colleges are no longer a proxy for merit, this will not happen.
