Ban the construction of new subsidized and low income housing, eliminate all inclusionary zoning laws. Only market rate units should be allowed. Close the existing housing voucher program to new participants. Only existing recipients should be allowed to receive them and once their eligibility lapses they should be ineligible to rejoin.

Not really. It's too small, too provincial and just can't compete with real world class cities when it comes to arts and culture. PP you're quoting is right. Add NYC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to that list just to mention a few US cities that DC can never compete with. And I've lived in several of those cities including DC. No comparison.


You have little culture yourself based on that statement. Educate yourself before spewing your nonsense.

Outdoor pedestrian shopping malls
Get rid of scooters entirely
Move homeless out of libraries and parks and into supportive housing
More shade
Enforcement of noise ordinance
Free buses
Security on all metro platforms
