No, where do you think the over rostered kids go to get time?

The massive buildings are data centers.

I'm not PP but I do think the area was very barren-like, so much space between things, massive warehouse buildings, and there was a penitentiary across Bolen. I wouldn't characterize it as creepy though.

We thought Hansen Park was amazing. What a great local facility to have out there for those teams.
Bolen was okay too but they shouldn’t have used the football fields. Too much crown and torn up. Others were okay.
Potomac Lakes was fine but parking there was a mess.

I can see why they play out there. Lots of good field space within easy driving distance. Yes there are data centers and power lines and a prison (or 2) across from Bolen, but sure beats the majority of fields around the DMV.

Does anyone think it is messed up that EVERY club brings in talent in every showcase?

That’s the game.

What age group?

This isnt a showcase. Is basically a giant organized preseason friendly

In the U16 (2010) age group, MLSN had a strong edge against ECNL clubs.

In U16, 6 MLSN squads had records of .500 or better and only one ECNL squad did. (Only looking at top division of each)

You tell the top clubs by who Monterrey decided to play. VDA, SYC , NCFC and NYSC. The rest are dogwater.

Not sure what you are looking at, but Arl and VDA have basically split evenly vs Tier 1 MLSN teams. VDA got dropped 6-1 vs SYC at u13. Union looks to be a doormat in just about every age group.

Let’s look beyond all the U- littles please. How did the u-17 and up do?

Very competitive game this afternoon between Bethesda and NVA’s 2013 girls. 1-1 tie. GA and ECNL well represented.

Anonymous wrote:great early pre season tournament where you see ECNL beat MLSN and vice versa. you also see some ECNL RL and Some MLSN2 teams that are good.

There are good teams and players in lots of leagues. The differences between the leagues is more about exposure than quality of soccer
