I'm an atheist and I'm not angry and miserable. Nor was I when I was a believer. Believers, especially in Christianity, assume that you should have the same beliefs as they do. Doesn't that seem strange to you?

I live a fairly good life as I know that every moment I have to live is precious.
The anger and misery come from the mythology believers trying to impose their fictions on my life.

There are entire states trying to push Christian curriculum into public schools. Certain US Supreme Court justices make no secret that their religion impacts how they rule. They were in fact chosen because of their religious beliefs, in a nation that is supposed to have separation of church and state.
