Yes, it's on. There's a website where you can sign up for tickets or whatever. I haven't seen road closing information, but that'd usually come later.
It would be a shame if a bunch of locals signed up for tickets and didn’t show up.🤷♀️

My kids have had fun signing up with ridiculous names. The dumb asses didn’t use a verification system, so Schmelli Bungwhul and guest and other like named individuals are registered but not attending .

So far, rain and possible thunderstorms are predicted for next Saturday. I’m all set to start publicly mumbling things like: “God don’t love ugly.” whilst shaking my head in agreement. It would be a real shame if the expensive parade got rained out. And it would be pretty funny if the original plans to celebrate the Army were held as scheduled— before the deluge.
American soldiers and tanks don't melt when they get wet
Well if they get struck by lightening they might.
They are heavy enough that this won't be an issue.
I think tanks can roll through lightening, but individual soldiers marching with guns would not be a good idea. Hopefully commanders will be able to stand up to King Don and say “this is not safe for the trooos.” I’m sure there’s already military folks that this is an idiotic idea but are biting their tongues to save their careers.
The guns and ammunition will be heavy enough to keep the soldiers from lightening. They're in no danger of floating away.

But what happens to trumps makeup and hair?
That's the important thing for Trump.
Have they even started constructing a presidential viewing stand? It takes months to build the one for the inauguration.

That’s what I’ve been worried about since I saw the planned parade route. I don’t know if the tanks (not sure of the different names of the heavy armored vehicles) will be crossing the bridge — or if they will join the parade from the DC side?
I imagine the planners have considered this.
The planners have considered and acknowledged some streets will need to be repaired post-parade. I haven’t seen info about how long those repairs will take or which streets will be involved but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

(Although it’s crappy because it’s also the same day as a lot of communities Juneteenth celebration—I wonder if the Trump folks even realized that.)
