There are far too many misogynists and we're clearly not ready for a female POTUS in America.

Please stop with this crap. Someone like Giorgia Meloni would win by a landslide in the US, that is, someone who is centrist on social issues, has charisma, and is tough on immigration and crime. Unfortunately the Dems have no one like this. It’s not a “woman” issue.

100% its actually not the candidate as much as much as what they represent - the democrats could have won the last election is they hadn't been completely asleep at the wheel about immigration - why is is so hard for the democrats to just take a reasonable but somewhat tough position on immigration?

Hmmm.... There was an unprecedented circumstance during the 2024 election cycle when the very unpopular incumbent backed out the race 3 months prior to Election Day and then the VP of that very unpopular incumbent was appointed as the nominee by the party committee as opposed to being nominated through the primary process.

Sure, the immigration issue was an effective talking point for the GOP but the much more obvious reason for the Dem's loss to a relatively weak opponent is the fallout from the incumbent's late exit from the race creating a no-win situation. Biden and his immigration policies are gone. Get over it.

When the next Obama, Clinton, or Reagan steps up, you'll quickly remember what makes for a good POTUS candidate and a successful two term POTUS is 99% about the charisma, leadership ability, and communication skills of the individual. A candidate or POTUS who takes a rigid stance on a single issue that is in conflict with what a vast majority of Americans agree with, does not have presidential leadership skills.

The vast majority of Americans want secured borders and a sensible immigration policy that limits illegal immigration while having reasonable levels of legal immigration. I am still trying to find the group of voters that would stop voting democrat if that was the democrat position on that issue. You can talk about charisma, leadership etc but if democrats don't modify their hardline positions on these losing issues then they will continue to lose.

Please run Walz. I dare you. He's trying hard to be masculine and normal. Tim Walz is the almond milk of presidential candidates.

Question, is wearing bad makeup and eye line like Hegseth, Trump, or Vance considered to be normal and masculine?

Holy sweet Jesus, are you such a right wing lunatic that Meloni seems like a moderate Democrat?

Your answer is to just have a less incompetent fascist?

If I am getting trolled, you are good at it, kudos.

That issue is dead. No one cares.

Actually tons of us care. It’s why we lost. Denying it won’t change it.

No one wants a billionaire in the Dem primary. You’re trying to win over people who cheerleaded for Luigi.

I follow an unhinged maga influencer because she also posts about a niche interest we share. She really hates Pritzker so it makes me like him more.

Anonymous wrote:As long as the Dems kick out all the moderates they will win. No more Schumer or other Vichy democrats.

The “moderates” are the reason we are here. If the Dems push the same old moderates out it shows they want the status quo.

No more hiring behind senate rules like the filibuster. Law and order need to be aggressively reestablished. Trump, his family, maga, corrupt judiciary, DOJ, etc must be punished.

As a dem, I do not support this. Enough with extremes. This county will go bipolar if we keep swinging far right and far left, it’s a terrible terrible idea. What we need is moderates on both sides.

lol you live is a fantasy world. There are no moderates on the Republican side. Disarming and throwing yourself on the none existent mercy of maga is a fools game. That is what you do when you vote for moderates. Remember how the democrats controlled the senate but were unable to even investigate SCOTUS’s corruption? That was moderates in action.

For democracy to work both sides must believe in it. The republicans do not believe in it. So go vote for Schumer, Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, etc. you will be putting the nail in your own coffin.

The moderate Biden approach failed. The country needs fighter not appeasers.

Your post is nonsense, stop trying to convince people that moderates are losers, they are not. Biden never should have been president to begin with, he is not the standard to which all Dems should be compared. If you’ve learn nothing else from the current administration at least let it be that extreme anything is bad business. True believers on either side if the isle cannot have the nations best interest at heart. Only those candidates willing to break from party lines to support causes overwhelmingly in benefit of the nation as a whole should be voted into office on either side and at every level. The status quo think compromise is a weakness to the contrary it shows great strength. Hopefully all voters will remember that otherwise it’s a path to self destruction.

+1000

Suggesting that Biden represented Dem beliefs and values is a fricking joke. He's an outlier. He was obviously never as awful as Trump but please don't let anyone ever try to convince you he is any kind of standard for Dems. We're better than this.

Huh? I mean apart from the dementia Biden was straight up the middle.

Well, the dementia was a small problem. Hopefully Democrats have learned that a rapidly declining 83 year old is maybe not the best candidate for the presidency. But you never know. The DNC is obviously staffed by morons.

I also think Pritzker has a good shot. There will be a gazillion candidates for '28. But Pritsker seems to be distinguishing himself right now.

Pritzker needs to get on Ozempic stat.
