I don't think Dartmouth will move this year. They admitted about 25 off the waitlist last year and offered 30 more acceptances this year.
Unless they get a unexpectedly low yield it's going to be a wash.

Dartmouth yield spiked in TO and overyielded. 1185 on admits is pretty normal on longer running target of 4800 total undergrad.

This year with TO tossed applicants were down. With t20 shotgunners you never know. I suspect they do use WL ths year but probably not much.

I know, I'm really bummed about this. I looked at the exact numbers a few weeks ago and iI can't see how they'll go to the waitlist this year. They'd have to have an atypically low yield. They literally matched this year's admits to cover any waitlist movement they'd needed in recent years.

In contrast, Brown underadmitted this year---100 less kids taken ED+RD than last year plus last year they went to the waitlist for 100 kids (so they may very well have 200 spots to fill).
