Crazy to me that a 30+ year old GS15 doesn’t know she is no longer working at the Auburn dress shop and shouldn’t be hosting GRWM- let alone when in midst of thousands being let go.

Yes. They use family surnames as first and middle names because everyone needs to know “who your granddaddy is”, so they know your social status. If you don’t have the “right” lineage for this, your striving parents may make one up for you so you can at least fool everyone else.
