yes, especially given the cultural aspects. Its very likely they didn't even know she drank much less stayed up all night until 3-5am with a stranger. I am not victim shaming, I did the same at that age and lucky to be alive. My parents would have been shocked.

This should be easy to confirm, based on eyewitness accounts of how much they drank. By 5am? A whole lot, I'm guessing.

What does it matter? She is likely just as dead as Natalie Holloway. Media attention can't bring people back from the dead.


Nor get a perp convicted if she did not drown. But it can keep pressure on authorities to not just sweep under the rug if there was foul play.
