What I'm suggesting is that people who want "refugees" should get them and get them on their street and in their kid's schools and not just be able to make them someone else's problem. If that changes the complexion or quantity of the refugees then you can take it up with the sign people.

Currently the continent has over 1 billion people, which is a man made problem and there is no alternative than to embrace the time and century that we live in.
Subsistence farming will kill the economy and leave the farmers in dire straits when there is a seasonal drought.

59 refugees, deserving or not is not a big deal. The country needs to wake up. Economy is regressing and will continue to do so.

Were it so simple. Africa still suffers from its colonization. Throw in crippling debt and debt servicing, along with suffering most acutely from climate change due to carbon emissions from the US, China and EU and you have what we have today.
